Miami Trip with Lincoln Canada

Miami has always been one of my favourite getaway cities. You know how much I love a good beach day but it's not everyday that you can escape your normal life and spend a week or two in somewhere like Cancun or Bali, so within a 5 hr flight from Toronto, for me this is the perfect destination for a mini vacay. Think clear ocean, beach chairs, salted wind and seafood feast, you get the picture of how excited I was when Lincoln Canada offered me a weekend trip to the south beach.

We picked up the all new 2017 Lincoln Continental right after landed in Miami and drove straight to our hotel, The Setai. The Setai is one of the most luxurious hotel in south beach, located in the busiest street, Collins Avenue. The hotel itself is very private and peaceful on the contrary, which is perfect for a good night rest after a day of outdoor activities. We spent a few hours lounging by the pool then finishing the day off by eating at a delicious Italian restaurant Casa Tua.

The next day we started the morning early and enjoyed a long walk on the beach and lying down to soak up as much Vitamin D as we could, definitely a must do when visiting Miami beach. Then we drove to the Miami Beach Marina in the afternoon and enjoyed a luxury private yacht sail by Royal Yacht Charters. It truly was one of the best experiences I've ever had! Since it was a three-hour sail we decided to bring our own wine and snacks, and even swimsuits to take a quick dip. Imaging cruising down the Miami waterfront while having champagne and swimming with the view of the whole city landscape in your background... A truly luxury experience with no doubt!

On last day we drove around and explore the city in our luxury Lincoln ride. It was the perfect car to drive around, especially if you are driving long distances. It was super comfortable, with features like the massage seat, the 30-way perfect position seats and the sky view sun roof just to name a few. And it was spacious enough to easily have my outfit changed in the back seat (real life problem of a blogger). Not to mention the elegant and luxury exterior look, it literally has everything that I want for a car.

We first drove to one of my favourite spots, The Miami Design District. If you are looking for a creative neighbourhood with luxury shopping, dinning experiences and galleries, look no further. I especially love the creative architectures and all the little cafés. We then drove to South Beach Helicopters and had our very first helicopter ride! It's been on my bucket list for years and it was such a surreal feeling to have my first ride flew all over Miami. From Golden Beach to Lighthouse Point at Key Biscayne to Downtown Miami, the unobstructed bird eye view was speechless. It was amazing how we got to see Miami from two points of view just in two days..

After a full day of exploring and adventures we finally rest ourselves and had dinner at Mino Miami, one of the finest Mediterranean seafood restaurants in the world. I've heard so many good things about their fresh Mediterranean fish, and if you are in town, their lobster pasta is also a must try!

We got up early in the morning and spent an hour at the beach before driving to the airport. It was a short but full of excitement journey and the only regret was that we couldn't stay a little longer. We were sad to leave our Lincoln Continental behind, it was such a luxury ride and made our trip much easier by getting us to places in comfort. I cannot wait to see where it takes me next! But in the meantime, I think I might need to get this ride myself... thoughts?

*A very special thank you to the team at Lincoln Canada and National Public Relations for making this memorable trip.
